This program is aimed to build competencies of the candidate in observing safe working practices in the leather work environment, use correct personal protective equipment and ensure fire prevention. Training and Research in the field of Leather and Leather Product Technology and conduct research and Development on Leather Technologies and Goods Production.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must have at least five (5) or more credit level passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS or equivalent in Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Physics, Mathematics and English Language at not more than two (2) sittings.

For the HND programme: A minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) in Leather Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognised and accredited Institution with at least one (1) year Post ND cognate Industrial Attachment. In addition, the candidate must have at least five (5) or more credit level passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB/ NBAIS or equivalent in Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Physics, Mathematics and English Language at not more than two (2) sittings.
