OSCOMS Records Historic Milestones at Matriculation, Opens 2026/2027 Admissions

Osun College of Management Science, Osun State — The Osun College of Management Science (OSCOMS), Ipetu Ijesha, has announced the successful conduct of its 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony, alongside the commencement of admissions for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The institution made the announcement following its matriculation event held on Friday, April 11, 2026, where newly admitted students were formally inducted into its National Diploma (ND) programmes.

Historic Achievements Recorded

The college highlighted two major milestones during the ceremony.

First, OSCOMS disclosed that it has become the first institution in Nigeria to secure full accreditation from the National Board for Technical Education to offer a National Diploma in Law. The development is expected to broaden access to legal education at the ND level nationwide.

Secondly, the ceremony featured the matriculation of 73-year-old Dr. Ojo Isaiah Akintade into the Department of Law, an event described by the institution as a strong statement that age is not a barrier to education.

Admission Process and Standards

The college reiterated its commitment to maintaining academic standards, stating that all admissions are processed strictly through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

According to the management, this policy ensures that students’ academic records remain valid for graduation and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilisation.

The institution also announced tuition scholarships for the first 100 students to register in selected departments, including Marketing, Public Administration, and Health Information Management. The offer, according to the school, is limited and subject to terms and conditions.
