Nigerian society of engineers Damaturu branch visits Rector Fedpoly Damaturu

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Damaturu branch Yobe state had today paid a visit to the Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello.
The visit according to the Chairman of the branch Engineer Aliyu Sabo, was to congratulate him on his well deserved appointment as Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu.
He therefore expressed the branch readiness to partner with him with the view of taking the institution to the greater height in terms of it infrastructural development as well as teaching and learning.
The Chairman therefore, pointed out that as professionals in the different aspects of engineering their doors remain opened for collaboration.
In his response, the Rector Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello expressed his gratitude over the visit describing it as timely to go by the challenge the Polytechnic is facing in terms of lack of electricity where it grossly affect teaching and learning in the institution.
He therefore assures them of collaboration and his readiness to accept their proposals in terms of the Polytechnic infrastructural designed, consultancy and project monitoring.
The Rector reiterated that the Polytechnic need NSE at any given time to ‘bridge skill gap’.
