Nigerian Committee of Federal Polytechnic Rectors Elects New Chairman

The Committee of Federal Polytechnic Rectors( COFER) has unanimously elected the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Prof. Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin,as its Chairman at a meeting held on Thursday, 13th October, 2022 at the NBTE Liaison Office, Abuja.
His election notification was contained in a letter dated 13th October, 2022 with reference number COFER/SEC/VOL.3/114 , and signed by Mr. Godwin Ayegba as Secretary of COFER.
According to COFER Secretary, Professor Fasakin’s election as Chairman would subsist until his tenure as Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji expired.

In a congratulatory message, COFER wishes its new helmsman divine wisdom and good health to make a success of this unique opportunity.
In the same vein, the Polytechnic Community joins other relevant stakeholders to celebrate its pioneering Rector for a well-deserved recognition to serve humanity in another level.
As COFER Chairman, Prof. Fasakin is expected to oversee the affairs of the Committee with the support of his executive members, and to discharge his duties as contained in Article IX, page 8 of COFER Constitution.
