NBTE Grants Accreditation for AD-COHST to Amount ND in DOP, run 3 HND Programs with Effect from 2023/2024 Academic Session

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted approval for Aminu Dabo College of Health Sciences and Technology (AD-COHST) Kano to begin HND in three different health programs with effect from 2023/2024 academic session.
The underlisted (3) programs included Higher National Diploma (HND) in Health Information Management, Environmental Health Technology, Community Health Technology for a period of five years with effect from 3rd October, 2023.
In addition, the college was also granted another (2) accreditations to institutional administration and for the commencement of ND in Dispensing Opticianry program (DOP) with effect from 2023/2024 academic year.
In three separate letters signed by Mal Sama’ila Tanko, Director Monotechnic Department on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Board and addressed to the Proprietor of the College stated that the approvals were granted following the Board accreditation exercise carried out from 7th to 10th September, 2023.

The NBTE Executive Secretary congratulated the Proprietor and the entire Management of the College for achieving the successes, expressing hope that the set quality and standard will be maintained at all times.
The Proprietor Arc Aminu Dabo in a verbal expression this afternoon from Abuja, expressed appreciation to the Board for granting approvals and applauded the conduct of the staff of the college for keeping the college’s momentum of accelerated growth and development in spite of the challenges of time.
He noted that, the NBTE recent visit, the college had set a excellent record of a significant development with the determination of the enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking staff of the college and urged them to sustain the tempo.
Arc Dabo reiterated his commitment to improve staff welfare and ensure all necessary facilities and infrastructures are provided at the College with a view to continue maintaining its high quality standard as well as remaining one of the best amongst its contemporaries.
It could be recalled that, on Saturday September 9, 2023, the NBTE accreditation verification team concluded its 3-Day working visit to the college where it verified 3 number of HND programs and assessed new ND program as well as inspected all the institutional administration organs in the college.
The team members comprising professional and eminent resource persons drawn from various higher institutions of learning in the country were led by Dr Murtala Aliyu Sakwa in the company of Mal Garba Muhammad Nalado North West Zonal Director of the Board later presented its exit report with indication of pass mark on the pipe line in due course.
