NAPS REACT To School fees Increment At the Federal polytechnic Ede
The National Association of polytechnic students (NAPS) has kicked against increment on tuition fees at the federal polytechnic Ede, osun state and call on the school management to reconsider a reduction as Nigeria economy is not friendly.Comrade Adeniji Boluwaji, NAPS Deputy Senate President made this call on Wednesday 3rd May 2022 after the school management released payable school fees for 2021/2022 academic session.Comrade Adeniji said he wondered why the school management went ahead to increase tuition fees even as the rector had earlier denies the proposed increment.He said,“The Leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) stand against the proposed increment in school fee in Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State.“The leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has gone through the proposed break down of the school fee, we disagree with all reasons for the said increment of the Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State School fee.“The NAPS Leadership and some Stakeholders of Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State Students Stakeholders in a meeting with the Rector in April 1st 2022 at the Management conference hall where the Rector denies the proposed increment and the Rector gave directives to the Dean Student Affairs to release memo towards this, which the Dean did.
