Mass Communication lead, Others Follow says Dean as DSPG Celebrates ICT Day

Delta State polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku (DSPG) School of ICT celebrates her first ICT day at the Mass Communication Hall, New Hall 1 of the Institution on 30th August 2022.
The school is an association which consists of some departments such as mass communication, Library and Information Science and Office Technology Management.
The Dean of ICT Dr. Emmanuel Ejomafuvwe Akpoveta while addressing the students said “being a student under the school of ICT tags you as number one in the institution because information communication technology ICT rules the world now in our everyday life”

He added “if you are deficient in ICT you can be termed as an illiterate and also said mass communication department is one under the school of ICT that is viable.”
He further said that ICT is so essential, indispensable and cannot be toyed with in the department of mass communication and the world is bound to change and to even be like the western world which are the developed countries.
The ICT President Comrade Dumbi Johnny said in his speech that despite their late inauguration and break they have been able to provide teaching puppets for all the departments under the school of ICT and help the students the way they can.
The president said that being motivated by what the present SUG President Comrade Choice Enebeli did by building a secretariat that he and his executives will do in building a secretariat, offices, conference hall and business centre.
