INSECURITY: OSCOTECH Esa-oke SUG Warn Students Against Night Travels

The Students union government of Osun State College of Technology, (OSCOTECH) Esa oke under the leadership of the president, Comrade Larry Jay has advised students to be security conscious as suspected Fulani herdsmen were signed around Eti-oni route in the Polytechnic community.
The Student union advised students to ensure that they travel only at day time and must avoid night travel as insecurity get worsens in the country.
This directive was contained in press statement made available to POLYTV by the SUG president.
The state which in part reads, “This is to inform all students to avoid traveling at night (from 7pm upward) along Eti-Oni to Esa-Oke as it was reported that fulani herdsmen were spotted repeatedly on this route…

“For security and safety purpose all student are therefore advised to travel during day time and avoid night movement.”
The statement added “The safety of all Oscotech students is our utmost priority as the apex Student Union body on Campus. We therefore seek for the co-operation of all students and be cautious of our movement.”
