IMAP LAUDS GOV. SULE FOR GOOD LEADERSHIP

Governor Abdullahi Sule has been commended for his foresight in giving Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic Lafia the kind of leadership it had been envisaging for a long time with the appointment of Dr. Nurudeen Mu’azu Maifata CLN, MNLA, FIICA as the Acting Rector.
Director, Information, Public Relations and Protocol of the institution, Mukhtar Wakeel MNIPR, FIICA, FCAI, gave the commendation when he hosted the leadership of the National Association of Science and Technology Students (NASTECH) Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia chapter.
Wakeel emphasised that having Dr. Maifata as Acting Rector is a blessing to the institution and a blessing to the education sector in Nasarawa state.
“You can see the accelerated development that is going on in the institution, especially in the areas of security, hostel accommodation, conducive environment for learning amongst others”.
He pledged to support the association during its forthcoming Mr. and Miss NASTECH event and Inter-SLT Sports Competition.
He cautioned the students of the institution not to indulge themselves in perpetrating social vices and to avoid exposing themselves to danger.
Earlier, Comrade ThankGod Shekwaga Haruna, President of the National Association of Science and Technology Students, IMAP chapter, said they came to familiarize and collaborate with the Directorate of Information, Public Relations and Protocol and to intimate the Directorate of the association’s forthcoming events.
Present during the visit were; Comr. Emmanuel Innocent Oche, Vice President, Viashima Simon, Secretary General, Isah Hannatu Onu, Treasurer, Magani Namo Ashakata, Financial Secretary, Onagi Alangbe Paul, PRO, Dominic Rita Chinemeremma PRO 2, Okoh Esther Gimba, Provost Marshal.
