ILARO POLY SUG EXECUTIVES PAID COURTESY VISIT TO OJA ODAN MONARCH

The executives of the Students’ Union of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, paid a courtesy visit to Oloja of Oja Odan, His Royal Majesty, Oba Engr. Oyebanji Adetunji Oladipo Olowobese (Ilagba 1), the Oja Odan monarch, on Monday.

The emphasized importance prioritizing monarch the of Yoruba particularly language, for the benefit of future generations. He noted that other tribes in Nigeria place great value on their culture and language, often understanding Yoruba better than some indigenes.

“let us trace our steps back and do the needful, for the benefit of our coming generations. Because if we are not awake to it now till it’s late, we’ll have ourselves to blamed”, said the king.

The monarch, known for his generosity and teaching ability, advised the executives to succeed in their offices through unity and support for one another. He emphasized that leadership is challenging and requires meekness and knowledge. Making it know to them that failure for one, is failure for all.

His Royal Majesty offered heartfelt prayers for the executives and encouraged them to make a positive impact during their tenure, as their achievements will be remembered years to come.
