ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) PROGRAMMES

The entry requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes are as follows:

1. Candidates are required to Possess National Diploma (ND) or National Innovative Diploma (NID) in their chosen programme at a grade not below LOWER CREDIT classification from a recognized accredited Polytechnic. Monetechnic or Innovation Enterprise Institutions

2 SSC GCE level with at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language & Mathematics obtained at not more than two (2) sittings

3. The National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NHC) with credit level pass a trade plus four(4) relevant academic subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics

4. Candidates are required u have one year post National Diploma Industrial Training experience

5. Candidates with PASS grade at the NID/ND are eligible for considerations for admission provided they have minimum of two (2) years post Industrial Training experience

Every applicant for the Polytechnic HND Programme who did not her ND from The Federal Polytechnic Offs are required so forward a copy of his her National Diploma Transcript to the Office of the Registrar, within Eight (8) weeks from the date of this publication.
