FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ADO-EKITI ADJUSTED CALENDAR FOR 2021/2022

This is to inform the Polytechnic Community that the governing Council of the federal polytechnic Ado-Ekiti at its 111th Statutory meeting held on Thursday, 9th June, 2022 directed that the revision for SIWES students should be rescheduled from Monday, 13th June to Friday, 17th June, 2022; in view of the Ekiti State Gubernatorial Election scheduled for Saturday 18th June, 2022.
In a related development, the Rector has approved the adjustment of the 2021/2022 Academic Calendar as recommended by the Committee of Deans (COD) at its sitting of Tuesday 14th June, 2022. It is instructive to state that the Committee of Deans (COD) has also put into consideration the Council’s directive on the adjustment of the calendar. The adjustment was made to ensure that staff wrap up their teaching and other academic activities to allow for a seamless examination exercise.
Based on the above, the First Semester Examination earlier slated to hold on Monday, June 13th, 2022 has been shifted to Monday 27th June, 2022 and will end on Saturday 16th July, 2022. You are to please note that all other academic activities would be shifted accordingly in line with the adjustment.

The Polytechnic community is further enjoined to note that the resumption for the Second Semester 2021/2022 Academic Session will now be on Monday 1st August, 2022.
All members of the Polytechnic Community should please take note of the adjustment.
