The newly elected General Secretary of the Education Students Association of Nigeria (ESAN) National Headquarters, Ambassador Comrade Abdulfatai Awodi, has pledged to transform the fortunes of education students across Nigeria. He made this declaration during a press conference held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the ESAN National Headquarters in Kwara State.

In his address, Ambassador Awodi expressed deep appreciation to education students nationwide for the confidence reposed in him. He described his election as a new era of transformation for education students and reaffirmed his commitment to building a strong, united, and impactful association that will serve as the voice of all education students in Nigeria.

According to him, his administration will prioritize collaboration and synergy, especially with the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), to ensure that the rights and welfare of education students are adequately represented and protected.

“We will not be left behind,” Awodi declared. “We will work together to ensure that our members benefit from the opportunities available to them and play an active role in shaping the future of education in Nigeria.”
