EKITI POLY To Commence New ND and HND Programmes for 2025/2026 Academic Session

In a significant step towards expanding its academic portfolio and strengthening its contribution to technical and vocational education in Nigeria, Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti (EKSPOLY), has announced the commencement of new National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, effective from the 2025/2026 academic session.
This strategic development reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to equipping students with cutting-edge skills and knowledge relevant to 21st-century challenges in various sectors of the economy.
According to a release from the Polytechnic’s Admissions Office, nine ND programmes and ten HND programmes have been approved and will take off in the forthcoming academic year.
Prospective students can now apply for admission into the following courses:
*ND Programmes:*
●Business Administration
●Cooperative Economics
●Hospitality Management Technology
●Food Science and Technology
●Library Information Science
●Public Administration
●Statistics
●Science Laboratory Technology
●Computer Engineering Technology
*HND Programmes:*
●Accountancy
●Artificial Intelligence
●Cybersecurity
●Software and Web Development
●Agric. Business
●Crop Production
●Fisheries Technology
●Agricultural Extension and Management
●Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology (Power & Machine Option)
●Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology (Telecommunication & Electronic Option)
While the new programmes are set to begin in the 2025/2026 session, the Polytechnic continues to welcome applications into its existing ND Programmes, which include:
●Accountancy
●Agricultural Technology
●Computer Science
●Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
The Polytechnic Management described the introduction of these new programmes as a bold step towards academic diversification and technological relevance. The Polytechnic’s vision is to produce technically competent graduates capable of transforming their communities and contributing to national development.
Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti continues to build on its legacy of academic excellence, innovation, and skill-based training, setting new benchmarks for polytechnic education in Nigeria.
