Edo State Polytechnic SUG Gives Management 48 Hours to Meet ASUP Demand

The Student union government of Edo state Polytechnic, Usen, has given management of the institution 48 hours to resolve all issues between Management and the Polytechnic lecturers so that students can continue with their examination.
This development was disclosed to POLYTV by the SUG PRO at the end of the meeting held with faculty presidents and legislative members on Thursday 5th May 2022.
The school management had yesterday postponed semester examination for the fifth time, a development which the student union rejected.
At the end of the meeting the student union issued 48 hours notice to the Rector to address their demands which are:
- Resolve all issues between management and ASUP union within the next 48 hours and allow our students resume examination
- With immediate effect stop collection of administrative charges, #3000 for collection file, ICT Entrepreneur fees for extension student, payment of Tiship fees, and payment of GNS dues.
- Provide accreditation approval document for HND school of business studies and estate management within 48 hours and mobilize our Graduands for NYSC Or stop admitting student into the programmes.

- Provision of identification card for students.
The student union body added that “The Rector as a matter of urgency should take critical look into the communique and address the issues within 48 hours of the date on the communique.”
