Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, has officially announced the commencement of its admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session. The institution invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for National Diploma (ND) Regular 1 & 2, Higher National Diploma (HND), and Weekend Programmes across various schools and departments.
Available Programmes
The polytechnic offers a wide range of courses under three main schools:

- Hospitality & Tourism Management
- Photography
- Multimedia Technology
- Environmental Science & Management
- Library & Information Science
2. School of Business Studies
- Accountancy
- Banking & Finance
- Business Administration & Management
- Mass Communication
- Office Technology & Management
3. School of Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Industrial Maintenance Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Welding & Fabrication Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Foundry Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Petroleum & Gas Engineering
- Chemical Engineering Technology
Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes are available in similar fields with multiple specializations, including emerging areas like Environmental Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Biochemistry, and options in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
How to Apply
Prospective candidates are to visit oghara.poly.edu.ng and click on the ND, HND, or Weekend Application link. An online payment of N2,000.00 (ND Regular 1, II) or N15,000.00 (HND & Weekend) is required via MasterCard or ATM card. Applicants must print the online acknowledgement form after submission.
Entry Requirements
- ND Programme: Candidates must possess at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings. JAMB score of 100 and above is mandatory.
- HND Programme: ND graduates must have completed at least one year of Industrial Training and must submit relevant transcripts and certificates.
Important Notice
Candidates who did not select Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara as their first choice must change their institution on the JAMB portal to be considered for admission.
Screening Exercise
Details for screening will be communicated soon. Candidates are required to bring printed online forms, original credentials, birth certificate, and JAMB results to the screening venue.
