Bida Polytechnic Gets New Registrar and Bursar

The governing council of the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger state , has approved the appointment of Malam Hussaini Enagi and Malam Sidique Marufu as the Registrar and Bursar of the polytechnic with immediate effect.
This appointment was contained in a statement released by Malam Abubakar Dzukogi, the institution’s Deputy Registrar, Information and Protocol, Federal polytechnic Bida.
The deputy registrar said that the approval was signed during the polytechnic’s 89th council meeting held on Tuesday July 26th, 2022.
Enagi, a native of Niger, has served as the polytechnic’s deputy registrar for eight years.
He served as the institution’s Public Relations Officer and Deputy Register Council Affairs.
Enagi holds a Masters’ degree in Public Relations and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria.
Marufu, a native of Kwara and holder of a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, served as the Chief Accountant at Kwara Polytechnic, Offa.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
Rector of the Polytechnic, Dzukogi stated that a selection board committee had earlier conducted interviews for the positions of Registrar and Bursar and forwarded its recommendations to the Council.

The selection process for the registrar and bursar was praised by the council’s chairman, Mr. Ugo Chima, he continued.
Dzokogi stated also that Chima described the registry and bursary as the engine rooms of the polytechnic.
The chairman advised the new hires to utilize their extensive experience in their new roles in order to benefit the institution.
