Benue State Polytechnic Resumes for First Semester 2024/2025: SUG President Welcomes Students with Strong Message on Conduct and Academics

Ugbokolo, Nigeria – As the Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, commences the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic session, the Student Union Government (SUG) President, Comrade Apeh John Ajene, has warmly welcomed both new and returning students to campus.
In his welcome address, Comrade Ajene expressed gratitude for the opportunity to begin another academic session and urged students to take their studies seriously. He emphasized the importance of good conduct and warned against engaging in social vices such as cultism, drug abuse, exam malpractice, and intimidation.
“Be of good conduct, say no to social vices,” he urged, reinforcing the need for discipline and a focused academic life.
The SUG President also advised students to promptly pay their school fees and complete their online course registration to obtain their registration numbers. He warned against giving school fees to any third party, stressing the importance of handling all payments personally.
“Don’t just pass through the school; let the school pass through you,” Comrade Ajene advised, encouraging students to attend lectures, do assignments, and make the most of their academic journey.
He concluded by wishing all students a peaceful and successful stay on campus.
With a firm stance against negative behaviors and a strong commitment to academic excellence, the SUG leadership aims to foster a productive learning environment for all students in the new session.
