Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Releases 2025/2026 Cut-Off Marks for ND Full-Time Admission

The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro has officially released the departmental benchmark scores for admission into its National Diploma (ND) full-time programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In an internal memo dated 14th August, 2025 and signed by the Secretary of the Admissions Committee, the institution outlined the minimum cut-off scores required for each department across its various schools.
According to the document, the School of Management set some of the highest cut-off marks, with Business Administration & Management at 175, Accountancy at 170, and Banking and Finance at 160. Public Administration and Marketing also pegged their cut-offs at 170 each.
In the School of Pure and Applied Science, Computer Science and Science Laboratory Technology both require 165, while Food Technology is 155.
For the School of Communication and Information Technology, Mass Communication has the highest benchmark with 200, making it the most competitive course in the institution for the upcoming session. Other programmes such as Library and Information Science, Music Technology, and Office Technology have their scores set between 150 and 152.
Meanwhile, most departments in the School of Engineering, Agriculture, and Environmental Studies maintained the general minimum benchmark of 150, with exceptions like Computer Engineering and Civil Engineering Technology set at 155.
The released cut-off marks serve as the minimum requirement for candidates seeking admission into the ND programmes for the 2025/2026 session.
The memo has been circulated to all deans, heads of departments, and notice boards within the institution for public awareness.
