Auchi Polytechnic invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) and Professional Diploma programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session (Morning).

B. HND Admission Requirements
To qualify for admission into any HND programme, applicants must:
- Hold a National Diploma (ND) from Auchi Polytechnic or another accredited institution.
- Have been previously admitted through JAMB and possess a valid JAMB admission letter and registration number.
- Present at least 5 O’Level credits (including English and Mathematics) at one sitting or 6 credits at two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
- Provide evidence of at least one year of Industrial Training (IT), or two years if the ND result is a Pass grade.
- Submit academic transcripts (except Auchi Poly graduates).
- Upload an NBTE-certified IT completion certificate.
Special Subject Requirements:
- Mass Communication: Credit pass in Literature in English
- Accountancy & Business Admin: Credit pass in Economics/Commerce
- Estate Management/Urban Planning: Credit in Geography or Economics
- Public Administration: Credits in English, Math, Commerce, Economics, and History
- Computer Science, Quantity Surveying, Surveying & Geoinformatics: Credit in Physics
- Ceramics: Credit in a pure Science subject
- Food Technology: Credits in English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

C. Professional Diploma Programmes
1. Building Technology
- Minimum of Lower Credit in HND Building Tech (NBTE-accredited)
- Completion of NYSC or exemption
- Duration: 18 months (3 semesters)
2. Urban and Regional Planning
- Upper Credit in HND URP or
- Lower Credit with two years relevant experience or
- Pass grade with three years experience
- NYSC completion or exemption is mandatory
D. How to Apply
Follow these steps to apply via Auchi Polytechnic portal:
- Visit: www.auchipoly.edu.ng
- Choose the correct application portal (Morning Programme).
- Click: Apply for 2025/2026 Auchi Polytechnic HND or Professional Diploma.
- Fill in your correct details and create a login with a username (preferably your phone number) and password.
- Generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and pay the N32,500 application fee via Remita at any bank.
- Return to the portal and log in to complete your application.
- Upload your passport photo and scanned credentials.
- Print the acknowledgment slip, application form (2 copies), and summary sheet.
- Submit two (2) sets of photocopies of all credentials, payment receipt, birth certificate, and two passport-sized photos in an envelope.
Note: Do not process payments outside the official portal. The application process is fully integrated with Remita via the school’s website.
