Ilaro, Ogun State – The management of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 admission exercise into various National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes.

According to the institution, this admission exercise is the last and final admission exercise into the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma programmes of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro following the transition to the newly established Federal University of Technology, Ilaro.

ND Full-Time Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into ND Full-Time programmes must:

• Possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits relevant to their course of study.
• Credits must include English Language and Mathematics.
• Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
• Have sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
• Meet the required JAMB cut-off mark for their chosen programme.

Candidates who did not initially choose Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro but meet the requirements are advised to carry out a Change of Institution through JAMB before the admission process is concluded.

Method of Registration for ND Full-Time Post-UTME Screening

General Entry Requirements

Applicants must:

• Possess a National Diploma (ND) from a recognized Polytechnic.
• Have at least a Lower Credit in the relevant discipline.
• Present evidence of completion of the mandatory Industrial Training (IT).
• Possess five O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics.
