The Alumni Association of the Accountancy department at Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, generously presented over 50 textbooks of various types to the Accountancy department of the institution on November 16, 2023, at the Rector’s Conference room.
The program was graced by the management team, led by the Acting Rector of the institution, Dr. Gbade Akinteye; the 2002 Alumni set, led by Mr. Ojo Adeyemi Peter, who represented the Association chairman, Deans of Faculties, Directors, Head of Departments, among others.
During the presentation, a representative of the Alumni Association, Mr. Ojo Adeyemi Peter, expressed gratitude to both past and current staff of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, for imparting knowledge into their lives. He reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the institution, providing students with access to knowledge, and contributing to its development.
“I am honored to address this distinguished gathering today. Our presence here is a testament to a remarkable journey, one that can be aptly described as a miracle by those of us who now proudly represent the Financial Management Studies Alumni of the year 2002.”

“We started our academic journey at the Polytechnic Ibadan in the year 2000 in Financial Management Studies, which comprised three departments: Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Insurance. We were the inaugural and final set in 2002 before transitioning to the main campus for our HND program.”
“The inspection of Financial Management Studies Alumni was inspired by Mr. Ajan Rahman Abiola in 2022. On August 30, 2022, our association was officially established with just 8 members. In a short span of one month, our membership grew exponentially, and as of Nov. 16th, 2023, we boast an active membership of more than 215.”
