AIrForce Institute Of Technology (AFIT) kaduna, 2021/2022 Admission Form Into Aircraft Maintenance

This is to inform the General public that Airforce Institute of Technology, (AFIT) kaduna admission form into Aircraft Maintenance engineers initial license preparatory course is out.
The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) is an Approved Training Organization (ATO) certified by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to conduct the Initial Licence Preparatory Course (ILPC).
The ILPC is a preparatory course specifically designed for participants (both civilians and military) in the field of aircraft maintenance who are desirous of obtaining the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers’ Licence. The course is meant to provide a good foundation for such individuals to enable them successfully sit for and pass the NCAA examinations as a prelude to the granting of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers’ Licence.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the next course ILPC09/2022), which is scheduled to commence on 2
June 2022 for a duration of 24 weeks.
The available options are:
a. Airframe and Power Plant Option.
b. Avionics Option.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- All candidates seeking admission into AFIT’s ILPC are required to have:
- A recognized aviation-training certificate. HND in Aircraft Engineering (airframe and power plant or avionics options), or
- A minimum of former Technical Training Group (TTG) certificate in Airframe and Power Plant or Avionics options for military personnel or
- National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent with 10 years post qualification experience working on an aircraft, or
- PGD in Aerospace Engineering (Airframe and Power Plant or Avionics).
HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates are to visit AFIT website (https://afit.edu.ng), navigate “Admissions” Menu and proceed as stated therein. To access the admission form, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N10,000 only for the ILPC application using AFIT online payment portal.
