Aba Poly SUG To Commence Cleanup Exercise on Friday
The Students’ Union Government of the prestigious Abia State Polytechnic, under the leadership of Comr Onyema Hope Chiadighikaobi, in conjunction with ‘Circle 12 Youth Development Network’ (led by Comr. Justice Mba, SUG President emeritus) are organizing a cleanup exercise on campus this Friday, 30th October, by 8am.
It’s been 7 months we have been away from campus, and it’s expected that the community won’t be the same ahead of resumption.
As a people, it’s unhealthy to leave (what we can do for ourselves) in the hands of God for Him to do for us, as that might remain undone.
As we all know, we are in a rainy season, the grasses grow everyday when there’s no one walking on them simultaneously. The Works department try as much as possible to keep them at level, but they’re human. Frustration comes in when you keep working but the grasses keep boomeranging because there’s no one walking on them.
However, these two aforementioned parties have agreed to come together and cleanup the environment prior to our second reopening in quick succession.
We also urge you, if you’re in Aba, to please come and join in the group as we tour round. It’s a freewill, you can lend in your strength and energy to help us achieve something huge this Friday.
The SUG President shall make some refreshment items available for us all, and possibly TP for those confirmed to have come from far-away lodge.
It’s the ‘U’ and ‘I’ in Union that makes us stronger.
Regards!
Signed:
Comr. Onyema Hope Chiadighikaobi,
SUG President.
