ASUU STRIKE: Ekiti Varsity Students Union Confirms school Resumption

The Students Union Government of The Ekiti State University (EKSU), has confirmed the reopening of the institution for the continuation of academic activities amid ASUU strike.
The Students body stated that negotiations are ongoing between ASUU and the school management as they hope for a favourable outcome.
The SUG President, Comrade Alade Emanuel in a press statement dated 30th August, 2022 admonished the varsity students to resume on Monday 5th September, 2022.
This is contained in a press statement obtained by POLYTV which reads,
“This is to inform all staylites of our esteemed University to resume school on Monday 5th of September 2022 for the commencement of practicals as the school intends to gradually begin the academic session.”
“We would also like to inform the general public that negotiations between the school management and ASUU EKSU are still ongoing and we hope for a favorable resolution.”
