10 Warning Signs He May Use You for Money Ritual
10 Warning Signs He May Use You for Money Ritual

Money has become a powerful obsession in today’s Nigeria. In a society where poverty bites hard and opportunities feel limited, many desperate youths have turned to fraud and alleged money rituals as a shortcut to wealth. While some people strongly believe money ritual is real, others argue that what is called “money ritual” is simply organ harvesting disguised under spiritualism. Whichever side of the argument is true, one fact remains clear: people must be extremely careful.
Although both men and women fall victim to money rituals, paying attention to certain warning signs can help you make personal decisions that may save your life. The signs listed below are not meant to cause fear but to create awareness, especially for those who may already be seeing these patterns in someone close to them.
1. Desperation for Money
When you have a friend or boyfriend who is extremely desperate to acquire riches at all costs, without following any legitimate process, it is best to distance yourself from such a person. The reason is simple: when a man hits a wall and feels he has no other option, he may take dangerous decisions that could put you at risk.
Friends use friends for rituals, and boyfriends use girlfriends for money rituals. This is not a new thing. It is not always about trust; it is about personality. If he is obsessed with getting rich urgently and talks too much about money in desperation, do not ignore this sign. Sometimes, giving him space could save your life.
2. Men Into Yahoo Yahoo
Many yahoo boys enroll in so-called “HK schools” where they are taught both tech skills and spiritual practices. Some of them use fetish items they bathe with or consume different concoctions believed to fortify them against law enforcement and clients.
Those who fail to “cash out” often consult alfas, olusho, babalawos, or other spiritual figures to boost their fortune. Some of these rituals may involve spiritual manipulation or even organ harvesting.
If your boyfriend is into yahoo and has several alfas, babalawos, or prophets on his contact list, you could be used for money ritual someday. Not all rituals end in madness or death; some involve spiritual manipulation. However, the safest option is to distance yourself from men involved in yahoo activities.
Do not forget the story of the former Ondo State governor’s daughter who was killed by her yahoo boyfriend. You may be defending your boyfriend today because of the money he gives you, but love will not stop him from using you when the time comes.
3. Lavish Lifestyle That Is Too Convincing to Be True
Ritualists often lure their victims with wealth. Many of them display lavish lifestyles on social media because people naturally worship money. Once you engage them in conversation, they may invite you to a specific location where you could be hacked to death or have your organs harvested.
Remember the case of the AKSU graduate in 2021, the philosophy graduate who was killed after being invited for a fake job interview she got on Twitter. There was also the shocking story of a popular billionaire who buried a pregnant woman in his house last year.
What about the Abuja case involving an online “millionaire” who invited two ladies who were later hacked to death? His TikTok profile was so attractive that anyone would feel safe getting close to him. He was arrested, and while being transported, he was killed. Till today, nobody knows the real outcome of that case.
The point is simple: not all that glitters is gold. If a lavish lifestyle feels too good to be true, take it as a sign to think twice.
4. Accusing You of Spiritual Manipulation
Many men involved in rituals believe that sleeping with multiple women can either boost or block their fortunes, depending on the instructions given by their spiritual fathers. If you start hearing statements like:
- “Since I slept with you, I hardly cash out.”
- “My life stopped progressing after sex with you.”
- “My baba said you are the reason my life is stagnant.”
These are signs you should never ignore. People do not enter ritualism without strict instructions. If he starts accusing you of spiritual manipulation, run for your life before he takes a critical decision that could destroy your future.
5. Hookups
Ladies involved in hookups face the highest risk of money rituals because technology has made connections very easy. Some ritualists pay huge sums to lure victims. Some victims are used spiritually, while others are brutally killed.
The safest option is to quit hookups entirely because who go use you for ritual no go write am for face. A hookup girl was killed just last week in Port Harcourt. If you cannot quit, then be extremely security-conscious to avoid stories that touch. Hookups expose you to serious danger.
6. He Talks Excessively About Money
If he constantly talks about money, wealth, or financial success without any real work, it could be a red flag. While discussing financial goals is normal, being obsessed with quick riches without effort is not.
If he often talks about unusual ways of making money or seems overly intense about wealth, pay attention. Sometimes, the way a person talks reveals their intentions.
7. He Pressures You for Personal Information
Someone planning to use you for rituals may try to gather sensitive personal information. If he keeps asking why you do not turn off your location, requests your social security details, your mother’s maiden name, or other private information, be cautious. A genuine partner would not pry into such personal matters without a valid reason.
8. He Suggests Unusual Practices
If he starts suggesting strange or suspicious activities involving rituals, sacrifices, or spiritual acts that make you uncomfortable, take a step back. Anyone who truly cares about you will not pressure you into doing things that go against your beliefs. Always trust your instincts.
9. He Is Secretive About His Intentions
If he is always vague about his plans, especially regarding money, it could be a warning sign. Avoid men who dodge questions about their goals or give unclear explanations. Hidden intentions often come with hidden dangers.
10. He Tries to Isolate You From Others
Manipulative people often try to isolate their victims from friends and family to gain control. If he discourages you from telling others where you are or who you are with, take it seriously. Isolation is often the first step toward manipulation.
In summary, trust your instincts and stay alert. Sometimes, paying attention to small signs can save you from irreversible danger.
