Why We Are Embarking on Strike – EDE POLY SSANIP

The Senior staff Association of Nigerian polytechnics (SSANIP), Federal polytechnic Ede chapter has said that it would embark on two(2) weeks warning strike starting from Monday 30th May to 13th June 2022.
According to the union, this action became necessary because the school management is yet to address their key demands.
The Chairman, Mr Oyeyode said “We have notified the school management of our plight to withdraw our members from Services effective from Monday 30th May to remind and warn the school management of our demands”

This is coming as the Academic staff Union of polytechnics (ASUP) two weeks warning strike expires today May 27th.
