We stand Against any Form of Protest says Abia Poly Students Union

The Students Union Government (SUG) of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, has dissociated itself from a news flying round in some speculated areas that there will be a massive protest by the polytechnic students over non accreditation of programmes by NBTE.
The union, while urging the affected students to be patient regarding the issue of accreditation, said that they can’t afford to risk the life of students on the issue which is already being resolved.
The polytechnic recently lost her accreditation of new and existing programmes due to non-payment of lecturers and staff salaries by the school management.
This development has caused mixed reactions on campus as some groups of student called for protest.
However, the students Union government says they are already working behind closed doors to see that the issue of accreditation is resolved thus no need for protest.
