Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin Kebbi (WUFPBK) Academic Calendar for 2022/2023 Session and Resumption Date for 2023/2024 Session

This is to inform all students, staff and the general public that the Management of the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin Kebbi has released the adjusted academic calendar for the 2022/2023 academic session.

According to the approved calendar, academic activities for Hunturu semester will commence on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.

Registration from fresh and non SIWES students will commence from Monday 9th January 2023 for regular and evening programmes.

2022/2023 Matriculation ceremony for the newly admitted students will be held on Wednesday 12th April 2023.

NCEIII students are to commence their teaching practice from 6th February 2023.

Hunturu semester begins for SIWES students on Monday 6th March 2023.

Hunturu semester examination will commence for fresh and non SIWES students on Tuesday 2nd May 2023. Examination for SIWES students will commence on Tuesday 13th June 2023.

Bazara semester for 2022/2023 session will commence on Saturday 22nd May 2023 for fresh and non SIWES students.

Bazara Semester 2022/2023 will commence for SIWES and NCEIII students on Monday 2nd July 2023.

Meanwhile Resumption date for the 2023/2024 academic session academic activities will commence on Monday 6th November 2023.

2	9^th JAUARY 2023	Hunturu semester begins for the 2023 academic session for fresh and non SIWES students regular and evening programme Commencement of lectures and registration for fresh and non SIWES students regular and evening programme
3	16^th January 2023	Lectures commence for fresh students.
4	27^th January 2023	Admission closes for ND and HND
5	6^th February 2023	Late admission begins. NCEIII students commence teaching practice.
6	17^th February 2023	Close of late admission registration
7	24^th February 2023	Registration close for fresh and non SIWES students regular and evening programme
8	27^th February 2023	Late registration
9	28^th February 2023	End of SIWES programme
10	6^th March 2023	Hunturu semester begins for SIWES students.

11	13^th March 2023	Close of late registration
12	12^th April 2023	Matriculation ceremony
13	22d April 2023	Submission of question paper for fresh and non SIWES students
14	2^nd May 2023	Hunturu semester examination commence for fresh and non SIWES students.

15	20^th May 2023	Hunturu semester examination end for fresh and non SIWES students
16	22d May 2023	Bazara semester egis for fresh and non SIWES students
17	9^th June 2023	Last day for submission of hunturu semester exam results
18	13^th June 2023	Hunturu semester examination commence for SIWES students.
19	23^rd June 2023	NCEIII teaching practice ends.
20	24^th June 2023	End of hunturu semester examination for SIWES students
21	2nd July 2023	Bazara semester begins for SIWES students.
22	7^th August 2023	Bazara semester question paper for non SIWES students
23	28^th August 2023	Bazara semester examination begins for non SIWES students regular and evening programme
24	14^th September 2023	SIWES orientation

25	16^th September 2023	Bazara Semester examination begins for non SIWES students.
26	2^nd October 2023	Sale of forms and opening of portal
2	2^nd October 2023	Bazara Semester examination begins for NCEIII students.
28	17^th October 2023	Bazara Semester examination ends for SIWES / NCEIII students regular and evening programme
29	November 2023	2023/2024 session begins.
