The Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki (TOPS) Academic Calendar for the 2024/2025 Session

This is to inform all students of The Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki (TOPS), Oyo State, that the school authorities have announced the resumption of academic activities for the 2024/2025 academic session and released the academic calendar for the current session.

According to the academic calendar, the resumption date for new students and non-SIWES students is Monday, 28th October 2024.

Registration for fresh and returning students will commence from Monday, 28th October to Friday, 8th November 2024.

Orientation for fresh students will take place from 11th to 15th November 2024.

2024/2025 first semester lectures for fresh and returning students from SIWES will commence on Monday, 11th November 2024.

The matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students will be held on Thursday, 16th January 2025.

First semester 2024/2025 examinations will be held from 10th March 2025 to 21st March 2025.

The second semester of the 2024/2025 academic session will commence on Monday, 21st April 2025.

Lectures for the second semester of the 2024/2025 session will be held from Monday, 21st April 2025 to Friday, 11th July 2025.

The second semester examinations will begin on Monday, 28th July and end on Friday, 8th August 2025.

Below are the details of the approved academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session.

FIRST SEMESTER 2024/2025 ACDEMIC SESSION

2	Registration for fresh and returning students	28^th October – 8^th November 2024
3	Orientation for fresh students	11^th – 15^th November 2024
4	Matriculation ceremony	16^th January 2025
5	2024/2025 first semester lectures for fresh and returning students from SIWES (14 weeks)	11^th November 2024 to 14^th February 2025

6	Mid-semester Test	17^th – 21^st February 2025
7	Computer based test (CBT)	24^th February – 7^th March 2025
8	First semester examination	10^th – 21^st March 2025
9	Marking and grading of examination scripts	24th – 28^th March 2025
10	Consideration of results by academic board	31^st match – 4^th April 2025
11	End of first semester 2024/2025 academic session	4^th April 2025

SECOND SEMESTER 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
