Federal College of Forestry Jos Welcomes Freshers in Grand 2024/2025 Matriculation Ceremony

In a vibrant and well-attended event, the Federal College of Forestry, Jos, held its matriculation ceremony today, April 8, 2025, to officially welcome students into the 2024/2025 academic session.

The ceremony was chaired by the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN), Ibadan, Dr. Zacharia B. Yaduma, who emphasized the importance of forestry education in sustainable development and national progress.

Also present at the occasion was the Provost of the College, Dr. Sunday Sambo Mailumo, alongside Dr. (Mrs.) V. I. Joshua, the Head of Station at the Montane Forest Research Station, Jos. The event drew attendance from principal officers, members of the college management, staff, and other dignitaries.

The atmosphere was marked by enthusiasm and optimism as new students pledged their commitment to academic excellence and discipline.
