You are welcome to the School of Health Information Management, the foremost Health Information Management Training School in Nigeria and Africa. The School, a Monotechnic established by the Lagos University Teaching Hospital Act to train middle level manpower in Health Information Management. 

The National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) gave the School full accreditation in 2005 for the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma respectively. The School from inception till date had produced several graduates who are excelling in different industries and academia, home and abroad. The School is also fully accredited by the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN).

The institution offers courses leading to the award of National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Health Information Management 

Both programs are two years of two academic calendars.

LUTH SHIM Admission Requirements for ND Applicants.

To be eligible for the course, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Entry qualification at the ND level is five (5) Credit Passes in: English Language Mathematics, Biology/Health Science Chemistry and/or Physics and Any other subject in not more than two (2) sittings.

• Prospective ND Candidates are expected to have sat for the Unified Tertiary Institutions Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained the prescribed cut-off mark for a particular admission year.

• Post-Jamb Screening will be conducted at the School Hall/the Human Resources Center for Prospective ND Candidates.

LUTH SHIM Admission Requirements for HND Applicants

To be eligible for the course, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Five(5) O’Level Credits in: English Language, Mathematics Biology/Health Science Chemistry and/or Physics and Any other subject in not more than two (2) sittings.

• National Diploma Certificate in Health Information Management with grade not below Lower Credit (from NBTE Accredited Institutions ONLY)

• Show and upload evidence of completion of one (1) year Industrial/Clinical Attachment from a reputable health institution.

• There will be a written Test and Oral Interview for Candidates intending to pursue HND holds at the School Hall/Human Resources Center.
