Reverse Your Ban on Students Vehicles- NANS Blows hot on Fedpoly Ede Management

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Osun state axis has blown hot on the management of the Federal Polytechnic Ede over the ban on students’ vehicles and motorcycles on campus.
The Students body said that the management decision has brought pain on the students of the institution and all their efforts to see that the ban is lifted is futile as the school authority refused to cooperate after several consultations.
Comrade Oyekunle, NANS Secretary General called on the school management to immediately reverse the ban on students’ vehicles and sack of the Chief Security officer for failing to address the security issues in the polytechnic.

He also demanded for the provision of speed breakers, caution signs at strategic places in the school premises.
He added that the Sale of tag numbers and registration of public motorcycles should be made available at the students Union building and security unit.
“An ultimatum of 72 hours is given, from the moment this gets to the desk of the Rector. Federal Polytechnic Ede (Dr. J.T. Kolawole), the heat shall follow suit as our liberation and the above listed demands are non-negotiable.”
POLYTV had earlier reported how the school management bans students from bringing their cars to campus. This development may be connected to the manner at which the students drive on campus.
