REDUCE HND FORM PRICE- KENPOLY SUG APPEAL TO MANAGEMENT

The Students union government of Kenule Saro Wiwa Polytechnic (KENPOLY), Rivers state, has appealed to the school management to consider a reduction on the price of application form for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes so as to enable returning students on industrial training and students from other institutions to apply for the form.
The school management last month announced the sale of application forms for HND programmes at the price of #25,000 only which some students described as “Expensive.”
The SUG Chief Judge, Hon. Manson Justice Aziaka in an open letter urged the Rector and the school management to consider a reduction in the sale of application forms.
The letter dated 23rd June 2022 reads,
“I write to judiciously salute the management for their esteem and love for the student as well as sanitizing the polytechnic through various policies (e.g. zero cash policy) among others….

“Sir, as a student servant, I write with a deep sense of duty and service to appeal for the reduction in the sales of the above form in order to enable our returning students and students from other institutions to embrace our prestigious institution (Kenpoly) as “population is money.”
