Management Provide External Security for Students
The Students union of the polytechnic IBADAN, oyo state, has implored all students to resume back to class following their recent meeting with the school management as the issue of insecurity in the polytechnic community has been addressed.
The student union in a Press statement confirmed to POLYTV that the management have granted their request on the insecurity issues on campus by providing an external securities units thereby calling on students to resume to their various departments on Monday 11th April 2022.
The statement in part Reads,
“The Union body are very glad to inform the student populace that the management have granted our request on the insecurity issues on campus by providing an external securities units which includes: State CID, DSS, Amotekun and Operation Burst.”
The student union further thank the school management for granting their request.
“We say a very big thanks and kudos to the management for taking the welfarism of our students as a priority.
The Students’ Union body under the leadership of Comr. Adedeji Adedamola Abdul Azeez admonish the student populace to resume back for their academic activities with immediate effect as lectures continue fully on Monday 11th April, 2022.”
Moreso, Students are to note that:
1) Over-speeding within the institution isn’t allowed.
2) Indecent dressing won’t be allowed within the institution.
3) Cars with tinted glass won’t be allowed; except if all glasses are wind down
4) There will always be scrutinizing before entering the institution (bikes, cars, bus, and those trekking)
5) All students must come with their ID cards or any means of identification.
6) All students should get their faculty neckmesh and make use of it always.
