OTM Breaks Record, Wins 2022/23 Rector’s Cup at Fedpoly Ilaro

The Department of Office Technology and Management of the institution has set a record to become the first department from the School of Communication and Information Technology to win the males football event of the Rector’s Cup competition in Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Odin state.
The department defeated Accountancy department in a gruelling encounter which ended in a goalless draw during the regulation time and has to decided by penalty which OTM won 5 – 4
Business Administration and Management won the female version by defeating Marketing department.
Trophies were present to the winners of sporting activities at the grand Finale of the 2022/2023 Rector’s Cup competition held at the Institutions football pitch.
The Rector, Dr Mukail Aremu Akinde, FCA who was ably represented by the Deputy Rector Administration, Tpl Lukman Lasisi the kick off and equally presented trophies and prizes, supported by other principal officers present.
The match had in attendance the Bursar, Mr M. B Akinola, FCA, the representative of the Registrar, Mr M.J. O Fatunbi, Deans and Directors, staff and students of the Polytechnic and other sports Lovers.
