Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH) Esa-Oke 2023/2024 Admission into National Diploma (ND) Part-time Programmes
Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for admission into the under listed Part-Time academic programmes which would be available in the institution during the 2023/2024 academic session.
A. FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS STUDIES
1. NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
i. Two-year National Diploma in Accountancy
ii. Two-year National Diploma in Banking and Finance
iii. Two-year National Diploma in Business Administration and Management
vi. Two-year National Diploma in Marketing
v. Two-year National Diploma Taxation
General Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess minimum of four (4) credit passes at not more than two sittings in requisite subjects in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE or WAEC or SSCE or NECO or NTC or NABTEB.
The four credits passes must be obtained in Mathematics and English Language and any other two from the following subjects: Commerce, Economics, Geography, Principles of Account/Financial Accounting, Government and Biology/Agricultural Science/Physics/Chemistry
B. FACULTY OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
1. NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
i. Two-year National Diploma in Building Technology
ii. Two-year National Diploma in Quantity Surveying
iii. Two-year National Diploma in Architectural Technology
iv.Two-year National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning
v. Two-year National Diploma in Surveying and Geo-informatics
vi. Two –year National Diploma in Estate Management and valuation
vii. Two-year National Diploma in Photography
viii. Two-year National Diploma in Arts and Design
General Entry Requirements
Minimum of four (4) credit passes in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE or WAEC or SSCE or NECO or NTC or NABTEB obtained in Mathematics, and English Language and two (2) other relevant subjects as stated below.
i. National Diploma in Building Technology:
In addition to the general entry requirements, two (2) credit passes must be obtained from the following subjects: Physics and any one relevant subject from Chemistry, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Woodwork, Metalwork, Building Construction, Bricklaying/Blocklaying/Concreting, Plumbing, Joinery/Carpentry, Walls, floor and ceiling finishing, Geography/Economics, Agricultural Science/Biology and any other Building related subjects. Credit pass in Physics is compulsory.
ii. National Diploma in Quantity Surveying:
In addition to the general entry requirements, two (2) credit passes must be obtained from Drawing, Fine Arts, Geography, Woodwork, Biology, Agricultural Science, Building Construction and Further Mathematics. Credit pass in Physics is compulsory.
iii. National Diploma in Architectural Technology: In addition to the general entry requirements, two (2) credit passes must be obtained from Physics and any one relevant subject from the following Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, .wood work, Metal construction and Geography
iv. National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning: In addition to the general entry requirements, applicant must possess credit in Economics or Geography and one (1) credit pass must be obtained from any of the following; Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science, Building Construction, Art/Technical Drawing,statistics,History,FinancialAccounting,Government,Commerce,Further Mathematics, General Metal Work, Bricklaying/Block Laying, Concrete, Carpentry and joinery, Machines woodwork and General Woodwork.
v. National Diploma in Surveying and Geo-informatics: In addition to the general entry requirements, applicants must possess two (2) credit passes from Physics and one credit pass from Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Statistics, Geography, Economics, Fine Arts, Building Construction, Biology/Agricultural Science, and Basic Surveying.
vi. National Diploma in Estate Management and Valuation
In addition to the general entry requirements, applicants must possess credit pass in Economics/Geography/Commerce and one credit pass from the followingsubject:; Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Principles of Account/Financial Accounting,Government,Technical Drawing,Fine Arts,Basic Surveying,Introduction to Building,Block Laying And Concreting,Wood Work and Metal Work
vii. National Diploma in Photography Technology. In addition to general entry requirements, applicants must possess two credit passes from CRS/IRS, Physics, Chemistry, biology/Agricultural science, Fine Arts/Visual Arts, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Geography, Literature in English, Economics/Commerce, History/Government, Clothing and Textiles, Dyeing and Bleaching, General metal work, Painting and Decoration, Garment Making, Craft practice and photography. .
viii. National Diploma in Arts and Design
In addition to general entry requirements, applicants must possess two (2) credit passes from CRS/IRS, Physics, Chemistry, biology/Agricultural science, Fine Arts/Visual Arts, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Geography, Literature in English, Economics/Commerce, History/Government, Clothing and Textiles Dyeing and Bleaching, General metal work, Painting and Decoration, Garment Making, Craft practice and photography.
C. FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
1. NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
i. Two-year National Diploma in Civil Engineering
ii. Two-year National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
iii. Two-year National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
iv. Two-year National Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering
v. Two-year National Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology
General Entry applicants Requirements
Applicants seeking admission to any of these five (5) above departments must possess minimum of four (4) credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one (1) subject from: Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics, Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metalwork, Geography, Government, Economics, English Language, Commerce, Further Mathematics, Woodwork, Metal Work, Building Engineering Drawing and Statistics. At at least a Pass in English Language is compulsory.
National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering:
Applicants seeking admission must possess minimumof four (4) credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one (1) subject from: Biology/Agricultural/Science, Basic Electricity/Basic Electronics/Applied Electricity/Electrical Installation, Metal Work, Technical Drawing/Building Engineering Drawing, Further Mathematics, Economics/Geography. At least a pass in English language.
National Diploma in Civil Engineering:
Four O’level credits which must include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one of: English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science/Building Construction/Technical Drawing. At least a pass in English language.
National Diploma in Mechatronics Technology Applicants seeking admission must possess minimum of four {4} credit passes in English Language.Mathematics and any other two credit passes from the following; Electrical Installation and Maintenance ,Basic Electricity, Physics ,Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Motor Vehicle Maintenance and General Metal work. At least a Pass in Physics is Compulsory
D. FACULTY OF PURE AND APPLIED SCIENCES
1. NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
i. Two-year National Diploma in Agricultural Technology
ii. Two-year National Diploma in Statistics
iii. Two-year National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology
General Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess minimum of four (4) credits in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE or WAEC or SSCE or NECO or NTC or NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings. In all cases, each applicant must possess at least Credit pass in English Language.
i. National Diploma in Agricultural Technology
Applicants must possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Agricultural Science/Biology and any one from the following; Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing, Home Economics, Food and Nutrition. One Nigerian Language, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity and Further mathematics
ii. National Diploma in Statistics
Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics and any other three (3) subjects from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Economics/Commerce Statistics, Geography, Government, History, Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, English Language Principles of Accounts/Financial Accounting. At least a pass in English Language is compulsory.
iii. National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology: Applicants must possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any
other two (2) subjects from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
E. FACULTY OF COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
(1). NATIONAL DIPLOMA
i. Two-year National Diploma in Computer Science
ii. Two-year National Diploma in Multi Media Technology
iii. Two-year National Diploma in Library and Information Science
iv. Two-year National Diploma in Office Technology and Management
General Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess minimum of four (4) credits passes in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE or WAEC or SSCE or NECO or NTC or NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings. At least a Credit pass in English Language is compulsory.
i. National Diploma in Computer Science
Applicants must possess four [4] credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and anyone subjects from the following: Economics Commerce, Geography, Further Mathematics Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science.
ii. National Diploma in Multi Media Technology
Applicants must possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and two(2) Subjects from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric Science, Fine Arts/Technical Drawing photography, Radio, Television and Electronics, Graphic Design, Visual Arts,Music,Picture Making,Printing Craft Practice,Work Practice,Applied Electricity,GSM Phones Maitenance and Repairs Basic Electronics, Desktop, Publishing, Social Sciences and Arts- languages; Yoruba, ,Igbo Hausa, CRS, IRS Economics/Commerce, History, ,Literature in English and Geography.
iii. National Diploma in Library and Information Science
Applicants must possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and two(2) subjects from the following: History, Literature in English, Economics, Commerce, Government, Biology, Agricultural Science, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, CRK/IRS,
iv. National Diploma in Office Technology and Management
The four (4) credits passes must be obtained in Mathematics, English Language and any two from the following subjects: Commerce/Economics, Geography, Principles of Accounts, Statistics, Government, History, Biology, Literature in English, Religious Knowledge, Agricultural Science/Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Type writing and Shorthand and CRS/IRS.

- Select the preferred programme (ND UTME or ND PT or HND) to begin the application process and click proceed button to continue.
- Create an account by providing your biodata on the account profile page
- A confirmation message will be sent to the email address you provided on the Account creation page.
- Note: Applicants are advised to use their own valid email addresses
- Click the confirmation link to proceed to the payment page.Payment can be made online or by purchasing a scratch card at any branch of the OSCOTECH Microfinance Bank
- On the payment page, select your preferred payment mode. After successful payment, applicant shall be automatically directed to the application form.
- Check your information to ensure the correctness of your data
- Click submit button to submit your application form
- Print the generated application form.
- All ND PT applicants should obtain their JAMB Reg. No to complete their application from a nearby JAMB state office
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are to apply online by first log in to CAPS @jamb.gov.ng and complete the procedure to apply for admission into OSCOTECH Esa – Oke and pay the application fee of N3,500 (Three
thousand, five hundred naira only) to obtain JAMB registration number and then proceed to www.oscotechesaoke.edu.ng to pay a processing fee of N8500.00 (Eight Thousand Five HundredNaira Only). Thereafter, click on Part – Time admission to complete the application
processing. Payment can be made with scratch card from any of the under listed banks or directly through College web-based transaction with an ATM card that is interswitch compatible.

Please note that candidate who do not comply with above method of application cannot be offered admission into Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke as their data will not be on JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), where admissions are processed.
Candidates are to also upload scanned copy of their certificate (s) result (s) and other documents requested as stated online.Date for Computer-based screening exercise for all applicants will be announced later.
All candidates are to upload their results, certificates/credentials on the portal of the College www.oscotechesaoke.edu.ng
CHECKING OF PROVISIONAL ADMISSIONS LIST
Applicants are free to check the provisional list of successful applicants online with the purchase
of scratch cards at a cost of N1,000.00 (One Thousand Naira Only) from any of the above listed banks.
