OSCOTECH ESA-OKE Students Protest, Call for the Renovation of School Clinic and..,

Academic activities were disrupted on Tuesday as the students of the Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH), Esa Oke shut down the school to protest the state of the school clinic, laboratory, electricity, the college roads among others.
The students while speaking with our correspondent said they are tired of complaining without efforts from the school management.
Though it was a peaceful demonstration, some of the students barricaded the gates into the school premises preventing other students and staff members from gaining entrance into the college.

Some of the student union demands are:
1. 24/7 operations of College Clinic for every student and provision of adequate facilities in the clinic.
2. Revert the increased Convocation, Transcript, and Certificate fee back to their previous amounts respectively.
3. Renovation of practical laboratories, and provision of equipment.
4. Effective operations of ICT facilities to the benefit of all students.
5. Prompt provision of car parks for students’ and lecturers’ cars/bikes.
6. Provision of adequate lecture halls for students.
7. Tarring of College roads and the illumination of our campus.
