Oko Poly Students Sit-at-home to Protest School Fee Increment, Mgt Bows to Pressure

The management of the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra state has bowed to the demands of the polytechnic students to reverse the approved school fees for 202/2023 academic session to status quo.
This is coming as the SUG president declared sit at home while locking down the school gate to prevent students and staff from gaining entrance to the school premises.
The school fees has now been reduced from #45,000 to #33,000 after the union met with the school management.
However, the SUG president while addressing the students on Tuesday said only one out of their key demands has been met and therefore sit at home must continue until all their demands are met by the school management.
A video obtained by POLY TV shows how students refused to attend lectures as they obeyed the sit at home order by the SUG President
