OGITECH URGES INDUSTRIES IN ADO-ODO TO INVEST IN THE INSTITUTE

The Management of Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa, led by the Rector Dr. Abiodun Babatunde Oluseye, is calling on all industries within Ado-Odo Ota local government to invest in the institute.
According to Dr. Oluseye, OGITECH is the sole state-owned higher institution of learning in Ogun West Senatorial District, offering about 38 accredited academic programmes in Engineering, Pure and Applied Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Financial Management, and Business and Management Studies.
Despite being situated in an industrial hub of the state, the institute has been operating with support from the state government and internally generated revenue since its establishment in 2006, without any contributions from local industries or individuals.
Dr. Abiodun is challenging all sons and daughters of Yewa Awori, including royal fathers and political office holders, as well as the industries located in Ado-odo Ota Local government, to fulfill their corporate social responsibilities and allocate resources to Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa, to foster its development.

He further encourages individuals who wish to leave a lasting legacy to consider contributing to the institute by supporting the construction of lecture halls, laboratories, libraries, a healthcare center, sports facilities, providing computer laptops, and other essential infrastructural amenities.
Additionally, Dr. Abiodun appeals to the state government and security agencies to assist the institute in securing its land, which has been encroached upon by land grabbers, hampering its development progress.
