Offa Poly Students Jubilate as Management Finally Reduces School Fees for 2024/2025

The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, has reportedly approved a reduction in the registration fees for both full-time and part-time programs for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The Students’ Union Government, led by its president, Comrade Taiwo Elijah, confirmed this to POLYTV in a press statement.
According to the union, the school fees have been reduced to an affordable figure, although the union did not state the specific amount. The reduction in school fees was widely celebrated by the Polytechnic students, who described it as a “relief,” especially now that the country is facing an economic meltdown.
The Students’ Union also announced that the school fees payment has been reverted to a one-time payment instead of a per-semester payment option.
The statement in part reads:
“As your Students’ Union Government Executives, under the leadership of Comr. Ojeniyi Taiwo Elijah, we are committed to delivering on our manifesto promises to make your academic experience at Federal Polytechnic Offa the best it can be….
“We are pleased to announce that after intense agitation with the school management, we have secured TWO major victories for you:
1. REDUCTION OF SCHOOL FEES: We are thrilled to inform you that the school fees have been reduced, making it more affordable for us to pursue our academic goals.
2. RETURN TO ONE-TIME PAYMENT: We have also successfully advocated for the school fees to be paid once per session, rather than per semester. This will help alleviate the financial burden on us and our families.”
“It’s unanimously agreed upon between the SUG and the Management that starting from next session, the school fee will be paid once (per session and not semester)”
“These achievements are testament to our commitment to listening to our voices and working tirelessly to address our concerns. We promised you BEST, and we are delivering!”
“You can now proceed to pay your school fees at the reduced rate. We urge you to take advantage of this opportunity and make the necessary payments to avoid any delays.”
