Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic (HAFED POLY) is located in Kazaure, Jigawa State, Nigeria. It was founded in December 1991. The mission of the polytechnic is “To create a conducive teaching and learning environment for individuals towards self-reliance and sustainable national Development”
The Vision of the polytechnic is to create “A citadel of learning producing graduates with technological and Entrepreneurial Education for self-reliance to satisfy stakeholders through effective lifelong education, training and workforce development by providing qualitative programmes and services”.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES:
HAFED POLY offers Regular(Full-time) and Part-time programmes. The duration of part-time National Diploma programs is two (2) academic sessions. The first and second academic sessions consist of three (3) semesters each. Students are expected to cover six (6) semesters in two academic sessions.
The regular program which is full-time consists of 4 semesters of 2 academic sessions. The part-time programme doesn’t require Jamb while the full-time programme requires Jamb.
HAFED POLY full-time part-time programmes are available at both the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Level.

HAFED POLY ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. NATIONAL DIPLOMA: Five credits in O’Level including Maths and English in either NECO, WAEC, NABTEB, NBAIS and others for not more than two (2) sittings. In addition, applicants must have Obtained the minimum cut off mark as contained in the Jamb brochure.
2. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND):
Applicants must possess a minimum of five credits at O’level at not more than two sittings in addition to the National Diploma (ND) result with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and above. Applicants with CGPA below 2.50 may be considered for admission with evidence of 2 years cognate experience.
