Kwara Poly Students held a candle Night Procession for student killed by Police

On Sunday, the Students’ Union Executives of Kwara State Polytechnic organized a solemn candlelight procession to pay their last respects to the late Abdulyeken Abdulqoyum was tragically shot dead by police on Wednesday evening in Ilorin.
During the emotional ceremony, the executives led the students in calling for justice and demanding a thorough probe into the circumstances surrounding Abdulqoyum’s death.
The procession, which was a tribute to the late student, was a testament to the union’s commitment to fighting for the rights and safety of its members, a display of solidarity and a reminder that the students will not rest until justice is served.
The executives led by the President, Dist. Senator Saheed Olalekan Ishola (Educator) vowed to continue pushing for answers and accountability, ensuring that Abdulqoyum’s death is not in vain.
