Kaduna Polytechnic Reopens Unguwar Sanusi Gate After SUG Intervention

In a major relief for students, the management of Kaduna Polytechnic has approved the reopening of the long-closed Unguwar Sanusi Gate following a meeting with the Students’ Union Government (SUG).
The SUG, led by Comrade Abbas Mainasara, engaged with the Rector on February 3rd to address pressing student concerns, including restricted movement due to the gate’s closure. After discussions, the Rector approved a reopening schedule:
- Morning: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
This decision is seen as a significant victory for students, easing their daily commute and improving accessibility. The SUG expressed gratitude to the Rector for his support in prioritizing student welfare.
