FUOYE Strengthens International Collaboration on Innovation

The Ag. Director of Innovation, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Assoc. Prof. Olushola S. Ayanda, was a guest at the Vaal University of Technology, South Africa as a visiting professor to explore potential collaborations.
The visit was aimed at fostering stronger ties and enhancing collaboration between the two universities, particularly in the areas of technology transfer, research, and innovation.

During the visit, both institutions discussed potential partnerships that could drive mutual growth, focusing on knowledge sharing, capacity building, and the commercialization of research outputs.
The collaboration is expected to open up opportunities for joint research projects, faculty and student exchanges, and the development of innovative solutions to global challenges.
This partnership aligns with the vision of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abayomi S. Fasina, representing a strategic step toward leveraging the strengths of both universities to advance technological innovations and contribution to economic development.
