FedPoly Ado Ekiti Honours 60 Best Students, Matriculate New Students

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti, Dr. Temitope Alake, has presented awards to 60 deserving best students of the institution for their outstanding academic performance.
The institution also matriculated 2,000 into the National Diploma (ND) and 1,900 into the Higher National Diploma (HND), totalling 3,900.
Speaking at the matriculation ceremony of the 2023/2024 intakes, the rector revealed that the 60 outstanding students who received the awards were the best students selected from across all departments, both from ND and HND, in the 2023/2024 academic session.
The rector charged the fresh students to strive to excel so that it would be their turn to be recognised during next year’s matriculation ceremony.
The rector warned them against anti-social vices and unethical behaviours that could lead to expulsion or truncate their academic pursuit.
“At this junction, my beloved children, it is imperative for me to advise and caution that you must not, at any time and or under any circumstances, take the law into your own hands, as this may lead to the disruption of the academic calendar with the programme duration being extended beyond the scheduled period,” he stressed.
