Fedpoffa Management Succumbs to Pressure After Students Protest

Following the protest that took place on Monday at the campus premises, the management of the Federal Polytechnic offa has succumbed to pressure from students as it granted some of the key demands that students requested for.
The Polytechnic students had on Monday shut down the institution over “No School fee No Examination policy,” lack of water and unstable electricity in the school hostels.
Comrade Co-factor, federal Polytechnic offa SUG president said that the School management has granted 90% of what they requested for with the intervention of Oba Olofa of offa and other elders in the Polytechnic community.

The student union president while thanking the Oba Olofa of offa for paying a listening hear to the cry of the students, also appreciate the Polytechnic students for their peaceful conduct during the protest, said that academic activities resumes with immediate effect on Tuesday 7th June 2022 and advised students to go about with their academic activities.
He said “let there be peace and orderliness in the school premises both in and outside the campus, our examination start on the 14TH of this month as stipulated and urge all students to be a law abiding students”.
