Federal University of Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) Approved Academic Calendar for 2023/2024 Session

This is to inform all students of The Federal University of Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) that the school authority has released the revised academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Academic activities for the 2023/2024 session will commence on Monday 25th September 2023.

Registration will commence from 25th September to 13th October 2023.

Lectures Will begin for all returning students on Monday 9th October 2023.

Lectures will begin for newly admitted students on Monday 16th October 2023.

The 2023/2024 matriculation ceremony will hold on 9th and 10th November 2023 for the Newly admitted students.

First semester 2023/2024 examination will begin on Monday 15th January 2024 and end on Saturday 3rd February 2024.

Second semester 2023/2024 academic session will begin on Monday 11th March 2024.

Second semester examination will begin on Monday 3rd June 2024.

Below are the details of the academic calendar for the 2023/2024 Academic session.

FIRST SEMESTER 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

	25^th September 2023	Resumption and online registration for all students
1	9^th – 13^th October 2023	Late registration for all returning students.
2	9^th October 2023	Lectures begin for all returning students.
3	Monday 9^th -13^th October 2023	Resumption and orientation programme for fresh students
4	Monday 16^th October 2023	Lectures begin for fresh students.
5	Friday 20^th October 2023	Late payment of school fees for fresh students

6	9^th November 2023	Matriculation ceremony Oye campus
7	10^th November 2023	Matriculation ceremony Ikole campus
8	8^th December 2023	Lecture end for all students
9	11^th – 15^th December 2023	Revision week for all students
10	15^th January 2024	First semester examination begins for all students.

11	3^rd February 2024	First semester examination end for all students
12	5^th February – 9^th March 2024	First semester break

SECOND SEMESTER 2023/2024 ACDEMIC SESSION

1	11^TH March 2024	Resumption / registration for second semester / lecture begins for all students.
2	6^th – 10^th May 2024	Students’ union week
3	25^th May 2024	Lecture end for all students

4	27^th – 31^st May 2024	Revision week
5	3^rd June 2024	Second semester examination begins.

6	22^nd June 2024	Second semester examination end
7	24^th June – 7^th September 2024	End of session break
