The SUG President of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State, Comr. Ahancku Valentine Nzubechi has been suspended indefinitely by the students representative council (SRC) for failing to refund the illegal deduction from the union account and abuse of power.
The SRC pressured that the suspension became necessary as the SUG president refused to obey lawful instructions which contravened the students union constitution.
“With reference to the parliamentary order and cause of action for immediate remittance of all illegal deductions from the approved amount for respective Union’s programs dated Thursday, 20th October, 2022 which gave you a 48-hour ultimatum to make all refunds and the sanction for abuse of executive power after investigations, I do hereby write to convey to you this progressive parliamentary sanction from the Students’ Representative Council of the Students’ Union Government, Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State….
“Sequel to the above, the attention of the S.R.C. has been drawn to your obstinate refusal to obey lawful instructions and the attitudes portrayed by you which are inimical, fraudulent, and contrary to the ethics & norms of the Students’ Union Government, and have ridiculed the Solidarity Constitution of the SUG and that of the Students Handbook.”
