Federal Polytechnic Nekede Resumption Date for 2022/2023 and Approved Academic Calendar for 2021/2022 Session

The Federal Polytechnic Nekede has released the approved calendar for the remaining 2021/2022 academic session.

This is coming a few weeks after a proposed calendar for the second semester 2021/2022 session was released.

The calendar has now been approved by the academic board of the Federal polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo state.

Second semester resumption has been Fixed for Monday 12th September, 2022 while registration and lectures will commence the following day which is Tuesday, 13th September 2022.

Examination for Second semester will now commence on Monday 27th November 2022.

2021/2022 Approved calendar for the Federal Polytechnic Nekede is as listed below:

1. Sunday 3rd April, 2022 – First Semester begins.

2. Sunday 3rd April, 2022 – Arrival of students.

3. Monday 4th April, 2022 – Registration of new students begins.

4. Monday 4th April, 2022 –  Lectures begin for old students.

5. Monday 11th April, 2022 – Lectures begin for new students.

6. Wednesday 11th May, 2022 to Friday 13th May, 2022 – Orientation of new students (3 days).

7. Thursday 14th July, 2022 – Matriculation.

8. Monday 25th July, 2022 – End of Lectures.

9. Tuesday 26th July, 2022 – Revision starts.

10. Sunday 31st July, 2022 – Revision Ends.

11. Monday 1st August, 2022 -First Semester Examination Begins. 

12. Monday 15th August, 2022 – First Semester examination ends.

13. Tuesday 16th August, 2022 – First Semester Break begins.

14.Tuesday 30th August, 2022 – First Semester Break ends.

SECOND SEMESTER 2021/2022 SESSION 

15. Monday 12th September, 2022 – Second Semester Begins. 

16. Tuesday 13th September, 2022.

17.  Wednesday 19th October, 2022 – lecture Ends.

18. Friday 21st October, 2022 – Students Union Week Begins.

19. Wednesday 26th October, 2022 – Students Union Week Ends.
